I’ve been nominated for a Versatile Blogger award by Justine of Justine’s Movie Blog! It is my first blogging award and I couldn’t be more thrilled. When I started this blog about six months ago I thought no one would ever read it. But it has been an incredibly rewarding experience so far and I have all of you hoopleheads to thanks for it! And now here are ten random facts about me:
1) I am half Portuguese. And proud of it.
2) But, no, I don’t speak it. I am actually feebly attempting to learn Russian. I know the alphabet and can count up to 10, but that’s about it.
3) Sherise is actually my middle name (my first name is Anna).
4) Harley Quinn is my favorite comic book character.
5) I named my cat Jolie after Angelina Jolie.
6) Before I put on my deodorant I always sniff it. It smells like watermelons.
7) Lately I’ve been eating cheese strings. There’s a strange pleasure in peeling them and the mozzarella is just SO good.
8) I can sing Bob Dylan like a pro on Rock Band (not sure if that’s good or bad).
9) I am a huge fan of the Vancouver Canucks.
10) Liev Schreiber is my favorite actor although that surprisingly does not come up on my blog often.

Good luck on learning Russian. I took some classes for it in school and remember most of the basics but I would like to pick it up again. It’s tough. And I agree about the string cheese. It’s oddly satisfying to peel. Congratulations on your nomination, Sherise (err, Anna)!

Congratulations! And thank you for the nomination! A friend recently told me that she bites string cheese and doesn’t peel it. I should say ex-friend because I couldn’t maintain a relationship with a monster like that.
